Elif, the wife of Ozan, who has a happy marriage and keeps to herself, has been staying with her mother for a few days and will return the next morning. While Ozan is home alone, his childhood friend Tolga shows up with an escort girl and Fehmi, a gossipmonger. They have also brought along Ati, their buddy from college who works at a snack bar. While Ozan tries to chase Tolga out of the house, his eccentric neighbor, retired sergeant Eşref, also shows up. Ozan waits for everyone to leave, but while watching the game alone in the living room, he wins a large sum of money from an illegal betting slip and dies of excitement. Ozan, Tolga, and Ati, hoping to dispose of the body, follow Crazy Eşref and find themselves in an even bigger mess.

Gece Gündüz was a police procedural soap produced by the Altıoklar Productions, the main characters are Aslan Aydemir and Kemal. They both work at the Istanbul Organized Crime section of the police force. The series finished on its 33rd episode.The theme song is an edited version of "Gündüz Gece" by Âşık Veysel Şatıroğlu who is also named "Uzun Ince bir Yoldayım" which was a famous Turkish folk music and Veysel was the famous one for this song.
